A contest I entered on Talenthouse.com. The contest was to design the movie poster for the upcoming indie flick "Animal Charm" starring Sadie Frost (Best know for her role as Lucy in Bram Stokers Dracula). Not much was said about the movie to make a poster. But from the visuals shown in the video as well as the stills found online, I noticed that the movie has a lot of bold colors and deep shadows. So I brought those bold colors and shadows into the poster. What stood out to me were Sadie Frosts character which made a cool silhouette and the three women wearing masks. Together they made a interesting composition for a movie poster (in my thoughts). Also I skewed the angle for a more dramatic effect and better use of the poster size. I had fun working with a limited palette. It came out very bold. I hope you like it.
