X-Men Sketches

I sketched some X-men. The X-men have always been a favorite of mine. So I drew three of my favs. The Storm sketch was done on paper with marker and pen, it's her latest design in the comics, I always loved Storm with the mohawk. The jean Grey sketch I did in Photoshop and the Wolverine sketch I did with a crumby old bic ballpoint pen, it was a good exercise in crosshatching.

Random Idea: D.C Characters in the X-Men

Blasphemer! I had an idea the other day. What if some of the D.C characters crossed over to the marvel side and worked on the x-men, or were given a marvel background. I have a few ideas flowing but the one I drew was Wonder Woman. I redesigned her costume. I also thought her Tiara and gauntlets could be made of adamantium, because the old ones were destroyed...or something.

Her lasso of truth could be something like a pyschic lasso. Like how Psylocke had a psychic knife. In the D.C comics the lasso was said to be telepathically connected and when she threw it, it would go where she wanted. and it was unbreakable. I also thought since she has her invisible jet in the D.C comics, that she could drive the X-jet. It was fun thinking of this idea, I might do more characters.Edit: Someone asked "Why not the X-men on the justice league?". Why? Because I like Marvel and X-men more, and also wouldn't the x-men just lose the X and keep their costume?

Edit #2: I redrew my design after it was pointed out to me that the original was drawn 61/2- 7 heads tall. Not super hero proportion. and since well, Wonder woman is a superhero and a amazon, it makes sense she would be 8 heads tall. So without further ado.

T-Shirt Design: Gifted Graduate

I am a HUGE X-men fan. I would read the comics and watch the animated show in the 90's with my sister as a kid. I haven't seen any "Xavier School" shirts around. So I thought I would make one. Well knowing that it might be copyrighted I sent it in to be looked at....and it was approved for voting! I'm guessing (maybe) there are too many Xavier schools in real life to copyright the name. So I am guessing that there is some minute clause that would allow this design? Anyway, go to Threadless.com and vote for my design to be printed and sold on their website. (e.g vote 5 and click "Id wear as a tee") Thank you! I hope you enjoy "Gifted Graduate"

New Model W.I.P: Phoenix from the X-Men (Part II)

At first i wanted the Phoenix to look like Famke Jansenn from the x-men movies. But it was brought to my attention on the zbrush forums that I should go for a more realistic red head. that is what follows the famke jansenn model.

New Model W.I.P: Phoenix from the X-Men

Here are a few work in progress shots. I'm holding off on the costume and working on the face. I want to redesign the costume a little.
